The National Gallery of Singapore embraces the concept that nothing is forever, reflecting a dynamic and ever-evolving approach to its artistic collection and exhibitions. This concept challenges traditional notions of permanence and encourages a continuous exploration of Singapore's rich cultural heritage. By presenting a diverse range of artworks from different eras, styles, and perspectives, the gallery encourages visitors to question and challenge their own perceptions of art and history. The ever-changing nature of the gallery's exhibitions ensures that each visit is a unique experience, offering fresh insights and connections between past and present, and reaffirming the belief that art and culture are constantly evolving and relevant to contemporary society.
